Price reduction : HSD-Bulk for Direct Consumers

  1. During the last fortnight, international prices of HSD have shown a declining trend and the INR-USD exchange rate has appreciated slightly. As a result, the selling prices of HSD-Bulk to direct consumers have been reduced all across the country w.e.f midnight of 15th /16th July'14.

  3. Due to the said trends of international HSD prices and the INR-USD exchange rate, the under-recovery on HSD-retail has also come down from Rs 3.40/litre last fortnight to Rs 2.49/litre currently.
