Replacement of Lost LPG Cylinder during recent Chennai Floods!! <br/> Oil companies to arrive at modus operandi

As a reprieve to the affected families whose LPG cylinder has been washed away in the recent floods at Chennai, and as per directions from Hon’ble MoS I/c, MOP&NG, the Oil Companies in a meeting convened today at Chennai have agreed to replace a lost LPG cylinder, under a special scheme.

The modus operandi and modalities of providing a lost LPG cylinder would be worked out, subsequent to discussions with the State Government.

Mr. U.V.Mannur, Executive Director, IndianOil and State Level Coordinator, Oil Industry, said that “We have received clearance and direction from the Ministry for replacement of a lost LPG cylinder. The modalities would be worked out and announced at the earliest. All of us are committed to easing the burden of our customers at the shortest possible time”
